Effective extraction depends on the room, route, duct length, external termination and how the fan is controlled. Truvo can assess new installations, poor existing ventilation and fan replacements without treating every route as the same job.

Indicative estimate basis
What the standard extractor-fan range assumes.
The £450 starting point is based on a new supplied-and-fitted timer/humidistat extractor fan, core drilled directly through a suitable outside wall, with a short duct, external grille, suitable nearby electrical supply, normal access, testing and commissioning.
Loft-to-wall, soffit and tiled-roof routes, longer ductwork, kitchen extraction and additional controls can add allowances. Slate or flat roofs, restricted lofts, high-level access, faults, long duct runs and uncertain routes are reviewed before a responsible figure is shown.
The range is indicative rather than a formal quotation. Ventilation performance depends on the complete route, terminal, airflow and condition of the room.Do not enter an unsafe loft, climb onto a roof or remove fan and electrical covers. Photographs from normal room, ground and safely boarded loft positions are sufficient.
