32A Outdoor Supply for Pool Heater & Filtration Equipment
A new dedicated 32A electrical supply installed for a domestic swimming pool heater and filtration system, providing a safe and practical outdoor power solution with easy seasonal disconnection.Truvo Electrical Solutions was asked to provide a new electrical supply for swimming pool equipment, including the pool heater and filtration system.
A new dedicated 32A circuit was installed from the property’s consumer unit using 6mm² cable, providing a suitable supply for the connected pool equipment.
Rather than permanently connecting the heater and filter, weather-resistant outdoor plug and socket connections were used. This allows the customer to easily disconnect and remove the equipment when the pool is taken out of use during the winter months, without needing to alter any of the fixed electrical installation.
The cable route and accessories were carefully positioned to provide a neat installation while remaining practical for servicing and seasonal use.
Appropriate circuit and RCD protection was provided, with equipment selected for its location and the environmental conditions expected outdoors.
Following installation, the new circuit was fully inspected and tested before being put into service.
